Since acquiring the site, Pennyfarthing Homes has held a series of pre-application meetings with Planning Officers for Christchurch Borough Council (now BCP Council).

Pennyfarthing Homes is also committed to engaging with the communities in which it builds, to ensure that local people are aware of its proposals and have an opportunity to provide their feedback on the plans.

We held a series of one-to-one meetings with immediate neighbours of the site and community representatives to understand their views. Following this, we displayed the proposals to the wider community at a public exhibition on Tuesday 18th June 2019 at St Mark’s Hall. Around 450 local households, businesses and stakeholders were invited to this event.

The display boards used at the event can be viewed by clicking here.

Pennyfarthing Homes will fully consider all of the feedback received during its consultation programme and, where possible, changes will be made to the proposals in order to address the feedback received.

This website will also be updated as the planning process moves forward to ensure that local people have access to up-to-date information.
